Each season, we bring 5-6 Educational Outreach Programs to public schools, with the goal of introducing students to high quality music, new instruments and self-expression through music.  Outreach sessions are typically led by the musicians performing in our DVFA concerts.  The format of the sessions is determined by each school and range from small interactive coaching sessions through large presentations in an auditorium. Over the past three years, we have held 17 sessions in ten different elementary, middle and high schools in the Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District, working with over 1,500 students.

We have held music masterclasses for local music students in the past and hope to do this again.

Youth are always welcome to attend our season concerts with our complimentary youth tickets and to meet our musicians in person after each concert.
