They
were schoolmates at Julilliard and, after many years of collaborating
on musical projects, these noted Bay Area musicians decided in 2004 to
create the Tilden Trio. They set out to perform timeless
masterpeices from the classical piano trio repertoire as well as
exciting contemporary works. Violinist Sarn Oliver and cellist
Peter Wyrick are members of the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra and
have performed with a range of chamber music ensembles. Pianist
June Oh is on the faculty of Dominican University and the San Francisco
Conservatory of Music and has performed nationally and internationally
as a recitalist and as a soloist with leading orchestras. Last
September she played with the Alexander String Quartet in their well
received concert for Del Valle Fine Arts.
The Tilden Trio's
performances have included appearances with the Chancellor's Series at
the University of California, San Francisco; Chamber Music Sundaes in
Berkeley; the Guest Concert Series at Dominican University; and the San
Francisco Symphony Chamber Music Series.

for the concert are available at the Bankhead Theater ticket office at
2400 First Street, Livermore, CA. You can call the box office at
925-373-6800 or visit them on the web at
www.livermoreperformingarts.org. The box office is open Tuesday
through Saturday from noon to 6:00 PM, and on performance days starting
2 hours prior to performance time.
Individual tickets are $33, $27, or $21.
